Over the years I have created styles and new ways of storytelling from scratch for new segments for German and Austrian TV shows. Some of these styles have set infrastructure for serial production for other companies.
What I am passionate about is breaking down complex content in a playful way to enter the mind of the viewer and make the content stick. Although my bread and butter is producing documentaries for established programms with a predominantly set style, I love to draw outside the lines and explore new territory as a thinking partner for companies who want to mix things up. Here are some examples of the new segments and styles I developed.
Combination of traditional handcrafted topshot animation with invisible CGI, blurring the lines between the real and animated
New segment and way of storytelling for short pieces that explain the physics or the sense in general behind familiar items
Fail Physics, a new segment that takes funny fail videos from youtube and explains the physics behind the fail; this is the pilot and set the storytelling- and animation-style for dozens of other films which followed that pattern
