First there is an idea. A call to create...
...but without consistency, this idea will never see the screen. And that is where the fun and also the hardship begin. I have dedicated my life to storytelling and offer more than a decade of experience as a director for factual science and entertainment shows and stand alone documentaries. What I am passionate about is the creative exchange with DoPs, editors, graphic designers and producers to get to the heart of a story and capture it with authenticity, inspiration, empathy and efficiency.

I've worked for all major German broadcasters including ARD, ZDF, ARTE, PROSIEBEN, RTL, MDR, DMAX. I also work for RED BULL. Apart from Germany I filmed in Japan, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Italy, Norway and the USA.

A personal highlight for me was moving to the US in 2023 for a period of eight months to live and work there. During that time I resided in Portland/Maine and Manhattan. I filmed documentaries all over the country, for example in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Hawaii, Bend/Oregon, Cleveland/Ohio, a couple of films in Florida and New York.

To me it doesn't matter how big or small a film is and not even the topic is important. I believe you can find something special in every story that everybody can connect to and this is what I love to carve out.
